Earn money with Infolinks – double money offer
READ NOW – DOUBLE EARNINGS IS A TIME LIMITED OFFER. Needs to be in place by 12th April.
Today’s scheme is easy to set up and easy to run. It’s another set and forget scheme for bloggers that will bring you in a daily income without you having to do, sell or promote anything. It’s the true definition of passive income – you can easily earn money with Infolinks doing nothing at all.
What is Infolinks?
If you have ever been to a website and seen some of the words in the text brightly double underlined, then those are Infolinks. When you hover over one of these links, a small box comes up offering for you to click to search on that keyword. Infolinks adds the links automatically, and it will be different per page view, and you are simply paid a rate for displaying the links in your text and extra if readers use the search.
I personally find those big bold double underlines a bit too ‘in your face’ but actually you can customise the look of your links and the density of your links to get the look you want so it is less intrusive.
What do Infolinks Look Like?
Take a look at my screen print here. I have mine set to maximum density which is 12 Infolinks per page, and I have a simple single dotted line under the links, with no change in text color. They can be quite discreet.
Infolinks are also active in this post so throughout the text you should see little dotted lines – these are the info links. Hover over to see an example of the pop up box which gives you the opportunity to search for those keywords. Click to go through to a second menu for sites associated with those keywords. Easy. Give it a try.
How can I control my Infolinks?
You have a number of easy to use options.
Density – you can chose how many Infolinks on a page – anywhere from 1 to 12
On or Off – you can chose on which pages or posts to display your Infolinks and when to display them. There is a simple on or off option for each post. For my top posts on my sewing blog, I leave Infolinks OFF for the first two weeks, and then add them later. For this site, I leave them on all the time, as my posts are intended to be informational rather than look nice!
Link color – many of us will have black text or dark grey and you can change the Infolinks text color to either match your site if you want them to be discreet, or make them in a bright color if you want them to be easily seen.
Underline style – chose from a single dotted line like mine, or go for the bold option with the double underline. It’s up to you.
What can I earn from Infolinks?
This will depend on several factors:
- The number of times the links are viewed or displayed – so depends on your page views
- The number of links per page
- The current advertising rate for the keywords
- If anyone uses the search
Here is my summary for the last week or so.
So my average is $1.66 per day. I could earn more, but I always chose not to have the Infolinks on my front page or my recent posts until they are 2 weeks old and most people will have seen them. It’s up to you how and where you decide to use Infolinks.
Assuming a 30 day month and an average of $1.66 per day, I would earn $50 a month. Not bad for something you set up once in a couple of minutes and then forget it. If you have greater traffic you can earn even more. Plus, as your site grows and has more content, then there are more pages to be seen, more active Infolinks and your earnings should steadily increase over time.
What’s the Double Earnings Offer?
Infolinks don’t usually run any kind of referral scheme. But at the moment and until 12th April, they are running a SPECIAL OFFER, where if you sign up on the recommendation of an existing user (that’s me), then you earn DOUBLE the usual amount for the first 60 days.
You can read their blog post with details of the offer.
To qualify for double earnings for 60 days:
- Sign up to Infolinks as a publisher.
- Straight after, send an email to [email protected] confirming your sign up with the St Patrick’s Day offer (click here for a ready made email), and claim your double earnings for the first 60 days. If you write your own email, you need to quote my PID to claim your offer of 1364311
- This email will also alert them that you are a referral and be more likely to result in acceptance for your application.
- Once accepted – set up your Infolinks – it will only take 5 minutes to set up and customise. Set up by 12th April.
- If you need help setting up, just ask.
- If you run more than one site, you can add other sites all in the same account and quickly add Infolinks to those too.
ACT NOW – the Double Earnings for the First 60 Days is a limited time offer. You must be signed up with your InfoLinks in place by 12th April to qualify.
Reading this after 12th April? You can still sign up but won’t get the double your money offer. Use steps 1, 4, 5 and 6.

Hi Pamela and thanks for taking the time to drop over and comment. I hope you get lots of new referrals and thanks for giving them all the opportunity to double their earnings. That’s a great bonus. Its a shame that mine only double once no matter how many I refer. If it kept on doubling for every referral – I could plan a (small) vacation!

Hello Deby,
Is there any adverse affect sending people away from ones’ site or blog?
I did sign up – looking for more exposure to my site and awesome product that I invented.

I can tell you that only about 1% of visitors seem to interact with my adverts, so no, I don’t think it has an adverse affect. If you have compelling content, they won’t want to click away until they have read your article. And then when they do, you get a little bonus.

Hi Deby, I’m so glad I stumbled on your site from a link party. Do you recommend ads even if I don’t have a lot of page views yet? Should I focus on getting traffic first? Thanks for the advise
Deby at Moms Make Money
April 4, 2013 @ 1:28 pm
Hi Milita. You certainly do need a certain amount of traffic to make some of these schemes worth your while. I find in general that approx 1-2% of my visitor interact with my adverts or offers in some way. If you are small, pay per view/click schemes like Rivit and Adsense won’t do much for you. You might instead concentrate on Affiliate income where you can promote or recommend a product or service and get a commission on a sale you refer. You only then need one person to buy. Try ShareASale, or maybe Escalate – they sometimes have fashion ads you can promote. You need to identify your typical reader, what problem they might have and then solve that problem with your recommendation. And a personal recommendation will work better than a general one.
But to earn money from your site – traffic is of paramount importance. Get yourself noticed with a lot of linking up to start with until you establish a regular readership. Use linky parties – and especially Pinterest. This is my #2 traffic referral after search engines. I hope these few tips help. Take a look back through the newsletter archive too in case anything there is of interest to you. Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to comment. Deb

Two questions – 1) Should you hear back from Info Links after sending the follow up e-mail? I have my account all set up, but never heard anything back after sending them the e-mail about the double earnings. 2) You mentioned that you don’t have the links on your homepage/new posts. How did you set that up?
Deby at Moms Make Money
April 4, 2013 @ 1:13 pm
1 – it would be nice for them to acknowledge receipt of the email so you know you were in the double earnings scheme. Maybe they are a little busy due to Easter. I suggest if they don’t confirm, just drop them a reminder.
2 – you can set each post and page to on or off for the Infolinks. Its a simple case of adding a short code or at the start of your post in the html. You can even do this part way through if you like – for example if you didn’t want Infolinks in the top third of your post, but were ok with it on lower down.
If I set a post without Infolinks when it is new, I add a note to my diary for a couple of weeks to go back in and change Off to On. It takes seconds.
I hope this helps..

Hi,
You wrote about infolink but you used google adsense. But why? How much will infolink pay per click?
Deby at Moms Make Money
May 25, 2013 @ 11:44 am
Hi James, actually I use both – Adsense and Infolinks and I also use Lijit too from time to time. There is no need to stick with your one advertising provider. You can run several at the same time, or run one at a time and change it up every now and then.
Infolinks pay in the same way that Adsense do – by CPM and CPC, and both can vary a lot, there is no set rate per day, per advert, per click etc. My current CPM rate for Infolinks is over $4.50 but it can pay lower too – its been as low as $1. Looking at my stats I can see my last 7 days CPM average is $2.74. My last 7 days Adsense CPM average is just $0.71. I earn more from Infolinks than from Adsense. But having a mix of advertising offers allows you to see what works best for your site. Hope this helps.

Thanks for information. I am having more than 300 page views but still dont earn anything from it. Is it because no content s meant for US
Deby at Moms Make Money
July 19, 2013 @ 7:13 pm
Hi and thanks for responding. The return is based on several factors – page views is certainly the most important. Your sidebar widget shows that you have had 9600 page views so far. The return for Infolinks is based on a Rate per Mille – a rate per thousand, so it really is a numbers game. Plus the most valued keywords underlined will also pay more, and the geography of your readers, as you say. If you can create great content that people from all around the world will want to read, and popular posts that attract a lot of traffic then you can earn good money easily. There is no secret to being successful – write really good, unique and interesting stuff and get it in front of people who want to read about it. Keep at it, success comes to those to don’t give up.

can i use lijit and infolinks without any problem or drop of earnings if i use both at the same time
Deby at Moms Make Money
August 3, 2013 @ 8:18 am
Hi Amir. Yes you can use both without any problem. Lijit will give you code for a sidebar display advert (or other placement on the site) and Infolinks has several options you can use. In this post I am discussing the text link underline ads which you can use with Lijit no problem and it should not cause any drop in earnings if you use both. However the more adverts you have, does not necessarily mean the more you will earn – a visitor may click one of your ads, but if you increase to 3 ads then that doesn’t mean the visitor will click all 3!

thanks a lot for this post on customizing infolinks ads.Usually I don’t like to read posts which serve infolinks because of double lines and colours all over the post.it is really disturbing. So I didnt sign up with infolinks so far as I dont want my posts to appear like that though I can earn some money…..
However I am a regular reader of this site and from the beginning I noticed you have placed infolinks nicely without disturbing the reader.Just now signed up with infolinks and hope to use the ideas in this post to customize the links…Thanks so much again!

Okay so.. i have started earning $15-20/day with some 10,000 ad views daily and 20,000+ pageviews.. Do you think its ok to earn that much for 20K views or is it too less ?
Deby at Moms Make Money
September 24, 2013 @ 12:38 pm
Hi Elvis. I’ve been browsing around many of your sites, which were new to me. You sure have achieved a lot for someone so young. Well done – you are a blogging superstar. Only you can decide if you are happy with the level of return you get on your various forms of advertising. You certainly are getting a very good number of ad views to page views ratio – I guess because you have chosen the much more direct approach with the big bright green double underline on your adverts, where I have chosen a much more discreet look to mine. For many users it will be a balance over appearance versus income to it depends what you want to achieve from your site. Congratulations on your great sites and great earnings. You have a very bright future.

I think this is a question you would need to ask Infolinks support. Without access to either your site or their site, I can’t tell you why page views are so very different. They are very helpful, so I suggest sending them an email and I’m sure they’ll be able to sort it out for you.

Deby at Moms Make Money
January 18, 2015 @ 8:35 am
Earnings are by click throughs, so have more links to get more clicks. I only skimmed the site but your articles are very short so there isn’t much in the ay of keywords they can use. Perhaps you could write a little more, or even write to Infolinks and ask for their advice. They were always very helpful when I wrote to them.

I signed fir infolinks on my site and was approved after two days. This after being disapproved for Adsense on my site. Google cited that I lacked enough content after posting 92 posts some of which contained upto 4000 words. I dont know whether I will make something from infolinks considering that my traffic is still growing.
