Ahhhh, this is difficult for me. I’ve never been a linear person and though I’ve written down a posting schedule for the week and month I always get sidetracked and start changing projects etc. So I really have to buckle down 🙂

You can always use a pencil so things can be changed! I like to use it as an ideas board too – when I get an idea for a post or a topic, it goes on the list with no scheduled date, so I don’t forget the good idea I had. Or keep a couple of posts written that can be published when you can’t think of anything else to write, or something comes up which means your planned post isn’t ready. It’s also a good way to schedule seasonal posts – add events such as Easter to your schedule so you know when to have your Easter posts ready to go – these things can sneak up on you otherwise.

Thanks for sharing this tip. I am really working on getting organized as things are getting busier on the blog and a little crazier trying to keep up. I have found a lot of useful info on your blog. I am definitely going to subscribe.

I like this, rather than just having it in my head and having the oh no I missed the blog party moment! Thank you for the doc. I am off to your sewing blog. I just started a creative craft blog. I love it already!

I’m just getting into blogging and I’m working on coming up with a plan for future posts. Right now I am posting at least every week, on Monday mornings. It does help a lot to plan things out in advance so I’m not scrambling Sunday night to write something. Thanks for sharing your planning calendar – I think I’ll put that to good use! Can’t wait to see your other tips 🙂

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been looking for something like this because when I look in blogger I have tons of drafts and posts scheduled- it gets confusing. This will keep me more organized. Thanks again!

I see you have a lot of good posts! I post every mondays, wednesday and friday. And occationally on the other days as well. I have created a blog binder so I can keep up with what I plan to post, what needs to be done etc. My blog is still quite young so I hope I can keep up the posts! I do try to have a plan one month ahead of time on what to blog so I always can be prepared.
