Can you be a member of Swerve and BlogHer? The example is enough to make me want to join.

Yes you can be a member of both. But just remember about the Blogher ads not being allowed on the post where you are paid by someone who is not in their network. You can have a photo and a paragraph on your main page with the Blogher advert, but when the post is displayed in full on its own page, you have to suppress the Blogher ads. Its not hard to do, a simple plugin and they’ll talk you through how to set it up.

I know a lot of Bloggers are making money with Blogher, I recently got approved for my social networks (Twitter/Facebook/Pinterest) and i’m fine with that…unless they just really want my Blog.

Thanks for the great overview, Debi! I’ve often wondered what Swerve was so it’s good to know. I’ll be pinning this. Glad I stopped by from DIY Sunday Showcase!

I have been a member of Sverve for like a year or two and only got 2 or 3 so far. they rarely update. Pay is low. But, it is a good start for beginner blogs to make a little extra cash.
